Stenli WOOL SHAKE – volume, softness and a truly distinctive texture

Stenli WOOL SHAKE is a modern textured yarn combining natural merino wool, a soft mohair halo and small decorative pom-poms. As you knit, these different elements blend naturally, creating a rich, voluminous and eye-catching texture.

The finished fabric resembles a colourful meadow of soft moss, natural woolly islands and tiny colourful or white flowers. This distinctive texture makes WOOL SHAKE interesting on its own – even the simplest stitches can create an impressive finished piece.

WOOL SHAKE is a great choice for warm, soft and airy sweaters, cardigans, jackets, winter scarves and hats with a modern, youthful look.

Thanks to its rich texture, there is no need for complicated stitch patterns to create a garment that stands out.

Approximate yarn requirements:

• Hat – 1 ball

• Long scarf – 2–3 balls

• Size S sweater – approx. 5 balls

• Cardigan, jacket or coat – 6–10 balls

• Blanket – 10–15 balls

Knitting & gauge

WOOL SHAKE is quick and easy to work with using 6–8 mm knitting needles or crochet hooks, helping to create a light and airy fabric that traps warmth effectively.

1 ball: 100 g / 120 m

Gauge with 8 mm needles, 10 × 10 cm:
13 stitches × 13 rows

Care

The added synthetic fibres improve the durability and shape retention of the finished piece, while helping preserve the yarn's softness and distinctive texture.

We recommend hand washing with a detergent suitable for coloured wool garments. Gently remove excess water and dry flat, without stretching the garment.
